What to expect

We pack each treatment with added value. Each signature treatment includes our signature Skindays Facial Workout—a client favorite designed to help firm and detox your skin.

Relax and know you’re in good hands: we don’t compromise on quality, and only use top-grade machines, equipment and products from countries like the USA and Korea.

Prep

Refrain from exfoliating for at least 1 week prior to your treatment. This includes topical prescriptions and products containing Retinol, AHA's or BHA's which can be too abrasive if used shortly before a treatment.
Avoid the sun for a few weeks prior to your appointment.
Stay hydrated by applying moisturizer regualrly and drinking lots of water prior to your appointment.

Steps & technology used

Step 1: Double Cleanse

‍Your expert aesthetician prepares your skin for your MFU-RF Skin Tightening treatment by first giving you an essential pre-treatment to ensure that any dirt, sebum and make-up are cleared away. Get ready to be pampered!

Step 2: Numbing

To make your treatment as comfortable possible, your expert aesthetician applies a layer of numbing cream over your skin. This helps to prevent any discomfort during the skin tightening treatment.

‍Step 3: MFU-RF Skin Tightening

Here, micro-focused ultrasound and radio-frequency technology work in combination to create heat and safely penetrate three layers deep of skin tissue (at 1.5mm, 3mm & 4.5mm) for the stimulation and production of collagen. While some mild prickly sensations may be felt in areas with less fat tissue, the treatment is considered comfortable overall - providing results comparable to that of a facelift but without surgery or any downtime.

‍Step 4: Bio-Cellulose Mask & Cryo-Therapy

To soothe redness and promote tissue repair, your skin is indulged with a nourishing bio-cellulose mask made with superfoods and actives like Hyaluronic acid, Vitamin B5 and Vitamin C. You’ll be led to one of our treatment rooms where you can prepare for your treatment.
Your comfort during your facial is our number one priority. If you're feeling thirsty or chilly, don't hesitate - let us know and we'll get refreshments for you right away!
During your treatment, don't be alarmed if you feel some mild pinching sensations. This is totally normal and part of the process!

Aftercare & downtime

This treatment has no downtime, so don’t worry about canceling your plans.
Avoid wearing makeup for the rest of the day after your appointment.
Avoid exfoliating or using any products with active ingredients until your skin is completely back to normal. Most of the time, you may return back to your regular skincare routine within a day.
Stick with any skincare recommendations your aesthetician may have given you.
Moisturize and apply sunscreen daily to keep your skin hydrating and well-protected.

Is there a doctor at your skincare studio?

While we co-founded Skindays with a leading doctor, we focus on bringing you the best non-invasive facials and treatments that are clinically proven to be just as effective (if not more) in bringing out the best in your skin as doctor-led treatments. We no longer keep a doctor because our studio specializes in bringing you the most effective non-invasive treatments that leading spas offer, without the doctor-led pricetag.

1. No doctor tax

Doctors rarely perform the non-invasive treatments they offer (they rely on expert aestheticians like ours), but charge a premium for these treatments in their skin clinics. The truth about the skincare industry is that doctors are expensive and unnecessary for many non-invasive skin treatments. We believe in saving you the premium!

2. Our expert aestheticians specialize in the treatments we offer‍

Doctors aren’t needed for the procedures and treatments we offer because:

Our aestheticians are experts that have at least 3 years of experience in the skincare industry. In fact, some of our therapists boasts up to 10+ years of experience!
Our team has to undergo internal training before they are allowed to work with clients at Skindays.
While working with us, they attend regular training sessions with our vendors & partners to upgrade their skills, ensuring they are in the know of the industry’s best practices

3. Non-invasive treatments are just as effective, and more sustainable for your skin 🙂

Our facials and treatments share a similar efficacy to clinical treatments, without being overly harsh.

Doctor-led spas can be great when you need quick and dramatic results, but their services are often unnecessarily harsh and can leave your skin stripped, while also straining your bank account. The non-invasive treatments we offer are preferred by our clients because they provide effective, sustainable results using gentler (and more affordable) treatments proven to bring out the best in your skin over time.

Are your skincare aestheticians trained?

Yes of course! All Skindays aestheticians go through regular training to upgrade and improve upon their skills so that they can better serve our clients.

Our aestheticians are experts with at least 3 years of experience in the skincare industry. In fact, some of our aestheticians boast up to 10+ years of experience.
Our aestheticians have to undergo internal training before they are allowed to work on clients at Skindays.
Even thereafter, they attend regular training sessions with our vendors & partners to upgrade their skills, ensuring they are in the know of the industry’s best practices.
